All weed delivery services are suspended for now
One of the delivery drivers at the medical marijuana dispensary was robbed at gunpoint late Thursday evening when he was trying to supply weed products to a local property.
- Since then delivery services have all been suspended till further notice.
I tried to call the shop on Thursday to have my official weekly delivery and the nice lady on the iPhone explained to me that their shop was no longer offering marijuana delivery services. I didn’t know anything at all about the problem with the driver until I asked the shop director for more information. I had been ordering delivery from the marijuana shop for the last 6 months with no issues. The director told me about the problem with the robbery and I started to understand why they stopped the delivery services. The driver should not have to worry about their health and safety. That’s one of the reasons why they do not carry a lot of currency. The delivery drivers used to take only currency, however now they only take debit card, paypal, currency app, or sell. The delivery drivers do not keep currency or cash, so they are not a prime target when driving around while in the late evening hours. I ended up going to the store to get all of the products that I wanted. The dispensary director told me to let her know when I arrived so she could supply me a 20% discount on my cannabis order. Since I complained about delivery services, she offered to supply me a discount and I was not going to turn that down. I obtained some dried flowers, concentrates, and edibles for less than 100 bucks.
