Legal cannabis should be accessible to everybody who has conditions like mine

I just do not appreciate the fact that there are people out there similar to me who don’t have the access to medical marijuana that I do.

This just seems patently unfair.

And on top of that, there are a good amount of people with PTSD who are self medicating with alcohol & that seems perfectly fine. I’m well aware of what the effects of trauma can be on a person’s life. I came back from serving my country with a pretty serious case of PTSD. In the beginning, I dealt with it by isolation & numbing myself. All I wanted was to not actually have to think about what I had witnessed & just escape. I turned to alcohol which is one of the most horrible things I could have done, however it actually provided the numbing comfort that I needed yet it was obviously destroying my health & relationships. After a little while, I listened to reason & started reading the medical marijuana information that was supplied by my brother that he kept bringing me… He was a sizable proponent of medical cannabis & getting it legalized in our state. So he knew what he was talking about when it came to medical marijuana facts. The more I read, the more intrigued I became entirely. So when I told my brother that I was ready to start therapy & begin using medical marijuana, he supported me… Of course, he knew just how to get a medical marijuana card. He was able to get me right through all the marijuana regulations so I could access the cannabis dispensary. Both the cannabis flower products that I am using & the group therapy has been key in tackling my PTSD. Still, while I am totally thankful for my improvement, I just wish all people in all states had access to a medical cannabis dispensary.
