The elevator worked in that building last week

Everybody in the marijuana delivery business knows that there are a couple of locales the two of us try to avoid.

One locale is the housing community across the street from the homeless encampment.

Occasionally the community can be undoubtedly rowdy in the evening. There tend to be people always walking around the streets trying to stop cars and ask for currency or drugs. The crime rates are a lot higher than other locales throughout the city. The people I was with and I try not to take any weed deliveries to that space after 7:00 p.m. The people I was with and I also try to avoid the buildings which do not have elevators. Nobody likes huffing and puffing up 10 flights of stairs for fifty bucks worth of marijuana and a $2 tip. There are several high-rise house buildings uptown that have more than five floors. One building has 17 and another building has 19 stories with a penthouse! When the elevator is broken, it is an immense pain to walk up and down all of those flights of stairs. I took a cannabis delivery to an house building downtown and the elevator was broken. The cannabis client was on the 5th floor and I had to walk up five flights of stairs. I was just in the same building the previous week and I undoubtedly didn’t remember the elevator being broken down then, but some of these older house buildings are in need of silly renovations. They could all use a major facelift and a million dollars worth of repairs. There is not a single building in the downtown area that has updated elevator and handicap access and that means many of the buildings are not compliant with the ADA directions and regulations.
