John started growing cannabis plants as a joke
John started growing weed as a hobby back during the COVID quarantine season.
Having known him for a long time, he never does anything halfway.
When he starts a new hobby he puts everything he has into being the best at it. So when it came to growing plants, it seems that John’s perseverance wasn’t enough at first. He did not have any horticulture experience so he was struggling! Even with that, he kept trying. I recall the first time he completed a harvest of her cannabis plants, and invited me over to sample the results. It was bad! This marijuana was weak, had a strange taste, and was chock full of seeds & stems. We had a laugh about it, but then John said he was going to keep trying, until he figured out how to grow the best cannabis. That was about three years ago, or there about, and John is still working on perfecting his marijuana plants. There is some progress and I’m confident saying that he has made remarkable improvements in his growing techniques, thanks to the advice from the local cannabis dispensary. The expert budtenders sold him a fantastic handbook about cannabis cultivation, and also gave him a special soil and grow lights that he could use. Armed with the new info, and loads of patience, John was finally able to grow some great cannabis plants. We recently sampled his latest harvest, and it was really the best yet. Perhaps not on the level of Orange Kush/ Purple Haze, but still undoubtedly tasty sativa strains that also got us stoned.
