I tried physical therapy and yoga, but the pain hasn’t subsided.
Over the last 10 years, I have been doing physical therapy twice a week and attending yoga classes once a week.
So far, nothing has helped to ease the pain of arthritis.
I was talking to my yoga instructor had couple of weeks ago, and she asked if I knew what holistic health was? I had never heard of holistic health, but I was interested in finding out. She told me holistic health used natural herbs and remedies to help ease pain and other health and mental problems that people may be experiencing. She told me about a holistic health doctor who had helped many of her yoga students. I thought it was at the wrong address when I stood in front of the pain management clinic. I looked at the address a second time and walked in the door. When I got inside, I said I was there to talk to Dr. Harding. The nurse told me to give her five minutes, and she would come back for me. In the meantime, I had to fill out the typical medical history paperwork, which I hated doing. When the nurse took me back to see Dr. Harding, he seemed very nice. He ushered her out, and we sat and talked about my pain. He told me that holistic health uses natural remedies such as marijuana and other herbs to help with pain. He mentioned marijuana several times, and I thought maybe he was looking to see what my reaction would be. He helped me get my medical marijuana ID card, and thanks to him and the medical marijuana, I am out of physical therapy, but still going to yoga classes.
